A Honolulu high school was locked down after reports of shots fired, according to the Star-Advertiser.
School officials sent a text to parents that said, "The situation at Roosevelt (High School) is under control," KITV reported.
The station also reported that a 17-year-old boy was shot in the wrist. According to KITV, the boy was a runaway and officers had come to take him into custody.
Police told KITV that the teen attacked one of the officers with a kitchen knife, leaving his torso with a minor cut. Two other officers had minor injuries from punches, police said.
One of the officers then fired two shots, hitting the boy once in the wrist, KITV reported.
The officer who fired the shots will be placed on three days administrative leave while the investigation is ongoing, the station said.
