IronPigs playoff hopes come to an end

The IronPigs faint playoff hopes were dashed Saturday night in a 3-2 loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Coca-Cola Park.

The 'Pigs runs came on a two-run single by Josh Fields.

The 'Pigs outhit Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 8-5 in the game.  Eight of the 'Pigs nine starters had a hit.

The IronPigs (72-70) will host Pawtucket twice before their season comes to a close.

They'll play on Sunday at 5:35pm before rounding out their season on Monday at 1:35pm.

Both games will be played at Coca-Cola Park.
