The Lehigh Valley IronPigs unveiled new logos and uniforms Monday, some featuring bacon as the hat logos.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

You just can't go wrong with bacon.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball club must agree, because they've incorporated a strip of bacon into some of their new uniforms, which were unveiled Monday at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.

Its "Smell the Change" campaign sizzles with a new bacon-themed outfit for Saturday home games.

Similar to past years, the Saturday jersey, still a brick red,  has a new "Pigs" design emblazoned across the front with a wavy bacon underline.

The outfit includes the first-of-its-kind bacon-style piping down both legs of the pants.

The club pays tribute to the Lehigh Valley's rich steelmaking history with a new, all-black Friday uniform with a Moltetn Red IronPigs logo on the cap,  jet-black jersey with steel-plated chrome lettering and all black pants.

A powder blue and burgundy two-tone Sunday cap will connect the Lehigh Valley with the Philadelphia region with a design that shows the Liberty Bell suspended by an I-beam.

'Scratch and sniff' bacon logo T-shirts are available now at www.ironpigs.milbstore.com or at the clubhouse store at Coca-Cola Park at 1050 IronPigs Way in Allentown.
