NAZARETH, Pa. -

Two men beat up two patrons at a Northampton County hotel over the weekend.

Ian A. Garren attacked one man in the American Hotel, 202 South Main St., Nazareth, at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, officials said, while  Michael T. "Big Mike" Wilson assaulted another.

Court papers do not say if the two incidents were related, why the attacks took place, or if the men involved knew each another.

Garren injured the man's neck and finger after punching him in the face and pushing him out a door and into a wall, officials said.

Wilson hurt the other man's neck, face and back by punching him in the face, putting him in a head lock and throwing him into a door.

Police arrested Garren and Wilson after watching surveillance video of the attacks.

Garren, 34, of 322 South Main St., and Wilson, 45, of 127 Mauch Chunk St., both of Nazareth, were arraigned Monday night on assault and harassment charges, according to court documents.

Both were committed to the Northampton County Prison, Garren on $3,000 bail and Wilson on $1,500 bail, court papers show.

Preliminary hearings for both men are set for Dec. 4, Wilson at 9 a.m. and Garren at 9:30 a.m.
