OLEY TWP., Pa. -

A man whose wife was killed earlier this year has been ordered to stand trial on firearms violations.

Weapons charges against Jules Krenzel were held for court at a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning.

Authorities said Krenzel had four guns inside his home in Pike Township, but he wasn't supposed to because he was convicted of a federal drug offense in the 1970s.

Krenzel's wife was shot and killed outside the family's home in January. No arrests have been made in that case.
