HS RUNDOWN: Emmaus clinches playoff berth; Wilson WL sweeps

Emmaus clinched a District 11 playoff berth with a win on Saturday, while Bethlehem Catholic and Parkland each took over their LVC division leads.
Emmaus earned a 69-49 home win over Nazareth, improving to 11-4 overall and clinching a spot in the District 11 4A playoffs.
Bethlehem Catholic posted an impressive 64-43 win at Allen, giving them sole possession of first place in the LVC East Division.
Parkland beat Liberty 68-56 at home in a rematch of last year's LVC championship and District 11 4A semifinal game.
The Trojans took over the LVC North lead later that night when Easton won at Whitehall, 64-49.
In the Colonial League, Notre Dame halted Catasauqua's three-game winning streak with a 65-58 win at Green Pond.
On the girls side, Northwestern overcame a double-digit deficit by mounting a 38-8 run to close out the game in a 55-38 home win at Emmaus.
Wilson WL swept a big non-league doubleheader at Spring-Ford Saturday night.
The Wilson girls beat the defending state champion Rams 43-26, and the Wilson boys followed that up with a 66-57 win.
