Hot Pockets' Philly Steak & Cheese recalled by Giant

Hot Pockets' Philly Steak & Cheese products voluntarily are being recalled by all Giant grocery stores.
The Giant/Martin's chain has removed that Nestle brand from sale because the Rancho Feeding Corporation is recalling meat products, which the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced were produced without all required inspections.
Spokesmen for Giant/Martin's said the company has received no reports of illnesses to date.
The following products are included in the recall:

• Hot Pocket Croissant Crust Philly Steak & Cheese, 9 oz., UPC 4369505634;

• Hot Pocket Philly Steak & Cheese, 54 oz., UPC 4369507520;
3022544513 with a best before date of March 2014

The grocery chain is advising customers who have purchased the products to discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipts to Giant/Martin's stores for a full refund.

Headquartered in Carlisle, Giant/Martin's operates nearly 200 grocery stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
