Hollenbach hoping to keep Pennridge on top

Jeff Hollenbach is back at the helm of Pennridge, and he's hoping to keep them at the top of the Suburban One Conference.

Hollenbach had a lot of success in his first stint with Pennridge, compiling a 72-25 record from 1997-2004.

He replaces Randy Cuthbert, who had replaced him at Pennridge back in 2005.  Cuthbert left this year to take over at Emmaus.

Pennridge will host Cuthbert's Emmaus team on Friday in their season opener at Poppy Yoder Field.

Pennridge had a historic season last year, going 11-1 before falling in the District One 4A semifinals.

The Rams lost a lot of key seniors from that team, but they do return All-State running back Mike Class.
