A Bucks County quarry is moving closer to staying open for decades to come.

HILLTOWN TWP., Pa. -

A Bucks County quarry is moving closer to staying open for decades to come.

The Hilltown Township Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting on November 25th to discuss the latest proposal for the Blooming Glen Quarry.

The quarry is run by Skippack-based Haines and Kibblehouse.

"H&K" will present their proposal to revise the agreement from 2005 between the company and the township.

It includes higher quarry fees, among other concessions.

The company wants to keep Blooming Glen open for 25 years after its scheduled closure in 2020.
