Green Lane man dies of injuries from car crash

SALFORD TWP., Pa. -

A Montgomery County man whose car hit a tree Sunday has died.

The Lehigh County coroner's office said 74-year-old Mark Woodward of the 100 block of Gravel Pike in Green Lane was pronounced dead Monday around 7 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co.

According to the coroner's office, Woodward was driving on Rt. 563 at King Road, in Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., when his car went off the road and hit a tree around 10:15 a.m.

He died of multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner's office said, and the manner of death was an accident.
