BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A man looking to reclaim his seat as Northampton County executive was talking jobs in Bethlehem on Thursday.

Democratic candidate Glenn Reibman outlined his plan to spur job creation and economic development in the county.

If he's elected, Reibman said he would utilize tax incentives to draw new businesses to the area, fund infrastructure upgrades and improve job training at local schools and colleges.

"Northampton County will once again be a driving force and act as a coordinator for economic development in the region, which, in my opinion, is the essential and core responsibility of county government."

Reibman served as executive for two terms, starting in 1997. He is running against Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan and Northampton County Councilman Lamont McClure.
