Two people and a toddler endured a terrifying ordeal Tuesday when they were carjacked and kidnapped by two men, police said.
Two men are facing charges and a third is still on the loose after the incident, which police say started around 4 p.m. in Muhlenberg Twp., Berks County .
Police say the victims -- a man and a woman -- are from Allentown. The woman's 17-month-old grandson was also in the car.
Police say it all started when the man agreed to give two men he knew a ride, but once the men were in the car, one of them pulled out a gun.
After driving for more than an hour police say the male victim actually jumped out of the car when he saw a police officer in Norristown., Montgomery Co.
We're told all three victims are okay.
Two suspects -- Francisco Pagan-Cruz and Hugo Vega-Hernandez -- are both in custody.
According to court documents, Vega-Hernandez tried to shoot the male victim, but the gun jammed, and he also threatened to shoot the child.
The men told the victims not to 'do anything stupid, they have AKs and they're from Puerto Rico,' police said. When the male victim turned around, he saw they were being followed by a white Mitsubishi car, which was being driven by a man later identified as Francisco Pagan-Cruz.
Police are still looking for a third man, Angel Vega-Hernandez, who was driving the carjacked vehicle when the victim jumped out, officials said.
