A single fingerprint left on a TV inside a home enabled Allentown police to nab a burglar.
Twenty-eight-year-old Luis A. Lopez of Allentown has been charged with burglary, aggravated assault, simple assault and theft by unlawful taking.
About 6:20 p.m. July 25, police responded to a burglary call at a West End Allentown home.
The injured 83-year-old female victim told police she was physically assaulted by the intruder when she came home to find her place had been burglarized.
The woman was admitted to the hospital with a brain bleed, according to police, who found a rear door had been forced open.
