Facebook. Facebook comes in at the very bottom of the social media pile after a turbulent year. Customers were dissatisfied with the forced change to the "Timeline" style profile, and a particularly messy IPO in May couldn't have helped.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A Bethlehem man is facing charges after police said he burned his girlfriend's face with a cigarette over Facebook posts.

According to police, Brandon James Moore, 25, argued with his girlfriend over some social media messages on Dec. 31, 2012.

The woman told police that during the fight Moore put a lit cigarette to the right side of her face which caused a burn. She then pushed him away and he turned around and hit her twice in the back of the head, police said.

Moore then walked away before police arrived, she said.

Moore is facing charges of simple assault, domestic violence and harassment.

He was taken to the Northampton County Prison after being unable to post $5,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 17.
