Justin Timberlake was born on Jan. 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tenn.
He was raised a Baptist and grew up singing in the church choir.
Timberlake began his career by starring in “The New Mickey Mouse Club” alongside Britney Spears, Christina Aguillera, Keri Russell and J.C. Chasez.
At age 14, Timberlake and Chasez, along with three other members, formed the boy band, ‘N Sync and released their self-titled debut album in 1998.
When he was in ‘N Sync, Timberlake wrote most of the group’s songs.
In 2000, Timberlake and Britney Spears confirmed their relationship as a couple.
In 2002, Timberlake broke up with Britney Spears. He began to pursue his solo career and released his first solo album, “Justified” by the end of the year.
At the 2004 Grammy ceremony, he was awarded two Grammys for the Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
By 2005, he and his best friend and former assistant, Trace Ayala, created a clothing line, “William Rast,” named after their grandfathers.
The next year, Timberlake worked with producers Rick Rubin, Timbaland, and the Black Eyed Peas to finish his second solo album.
In September 2006, Timberlake’s second solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds was released. The album debuted No.11 on the Billboard charts. The album’s lead song, titled “SexyBack,” placed on top of the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks.
During the same time, Timberlake also spent time on his acting career by providing a voice in Shrek the Third (2007), starring in the Alpha Dog (2006), Black Snake Moan (2006) and The Love Guru (2008)
In 2010, he appeared in the film “Bad Teacher” alongside his ex girlfriend, Cameron Diaz.
The same year, he played the former Facebook president Sean Parker in “The Social Network.”
The following year he appeared in “Friends with Benefits” alongside Mila Kunis.
During the same time, he also co-starred with Amanda Seyfried in the Sci-Fi thriller “In Time”
In 2012, he appeared in the movie “Trouble with the Curve.”
In 2012, the long-term couple Timberlake and Jessica Biel married in Italy.
Back from a seven-year hiatus, Timberlake debut his new single, “Suit & Tie,” in 2013, which gave him the best sales week he has ever had.
In March 2013 he released the first half of his new album “The 20/20 Experience,” which included his hit singles “Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors."
He released the second part of "The 20/20 Experience" in Sept. 2013. This half of the album included hits such as "Take Back the Night" and "TKO."
