Before there was Brad and Angelina and Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, Hollywood's romantic spotlight fell on a different generation of couples, from Sting and Trudie to Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Take a look at some baby boomer celebrity couples.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson: Hanks and Wilson met on the set of the actor's television series "Bosom Buddies" and later started dating while filming the movie "Volunteers." They were married in 1988 and have two sons together. Hanks also has two children from a previous marriage.

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins: Sarandon and Robbins met while filming "Bull Durham." They have been together since 1988 but have never married. They have two sons together. The actors share an interest in political and social causes.

Sting and Trudie Styler: Singer Sting began living with actress Styler in 1982 and they were eventually married on Aug. 20, 1992. They have four children together.

Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw: Actress Capshaw met award-winning director Spielberg when he cast her in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom." They were later married on Oct. 12, 1991. They currently are raising eight children together.

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks: Before Brooks and Yearwood became spouses the two country music stars were friends who saw each other through failed previous marriages and career struggles. They began dating in 2000 and were married on Dec. 10, 2005, in a private ceremony at the couple's Oklahoma home.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne: Ozzy and Sharon met when she was just 17 and working for her father, who was the manager of Black Sabbath. The two started dating after Ozzy was ousted from the band. Sharon took over as his manager and they were eventually married on July 4, 1982, in Hawaii. The couple endured an early troubled marriage while both battled alcohol and drug issues. They have three children together and their family was featured on an MTV reality show, "The Osbournes."

Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen: Actor Danson and actress Steenburgen both had previous marriages before they exchanged vows on Oct. 7, 1995. Steenburgen was previously married to Malcolm McDowell, with whom she had two children. Danson had two previous wives, Randy Danson and Casey Coates. He and Coates had two children together.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston: Model/actress Preston first met actor Travolta 1987. They were eventually married in 1991 through two ceremonies. The initial ceremony, held in Paris by a scientologist minister, was legally invalid, so the couple married again a week later in Florida.
