Energy assistance program accepting crisis applications

People who need emergency help paying their heating bills this winter are getting some relief.

Pennsylvania's Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is now offering crisis grants.

You can apply by visiting the LIHEAP website.

The crisis grants are the second phase of the LIHEAP program and applications will be accepted until April 4.

They're meant to help with emergencies like broken heating equipment, lack of fuel, or a danger of being without fuel.
