Did beating lead to Reading homeless man's death? Officials await autopsy results

It could be weeks before officials know if the the brutal assault of a homeless man last month contributed to his death.
Officials say Robert "Bobby" L. Mohler, 49, was found dead early Wednesday morning in an industrial building in the 1200 block of Spruce Street in Reading.
The owner had allowed him to stay in his business so that he wouldn't have to sleep in an ice storm.
The cause of Mohler's death is pending the results of autopsy tests, which the coroner's office says will be available in four to six weeks.
Mohler, whose identity was released by the coroner's office this weekend, was assaulted in a laundromat on Penn Street in Reading on Jan. 11. The brutal attack, caught on surveillance video, left Mohler hospitalized for several days.
Ana Ferrer-Reyes and Keith Darnell Allison have already been arrested in connection with last month's attack.
Police say Irich Colon, guilt-ridden, identified herself in surveillance video and turned herself in.
Police are still looking for Floyd Patterson, who goes by the name "Hulk."
If the victim's death is related to the attack, police say the suspects could face homicide charges.
A funeral service for Mohler was held Sunday afternoon at the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home in Reading.
The obituary posted on the funeral home website said Mohler was a longtime equipment operator at Rota-Mill Inc. Mohler, who is survived by two children, was a fan of NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"He was known to be very nice, caring and looked out for all of his friends," Mohler's obituary states. "Bobby will be greatly missed."
