The Berks County District Attorney is investigating an incident involving Hamburg High School starting quarterback Joe Cominsky.

READING, Pa. -

The Berks County district attorney is investigating an incident involving Hamburg High School starting quarterback Joe Cominsky.

Berks is the second county to open an investigation in relation to Cominsky after he was involved in a fight on the field during the Hamburg vs. Annville-Cleona game in Lebanon County on Sept. 6. That fight was caught on camera.

The new investigation, however, is for a different video that shows a Hamburg practice session between players, said District Attorney John Adams, who received the video from a parent.

Adams was told that, in the video, Cominsky was throwing footballs at another teammate. The Hamburg coach can be seen stepping forward and directing Cominsky where to aim.

The new investigation comes more than a week after Cominsky removed an opponent's football helmet and hit him in the head with it during a game in Lebanon County.

At this time, Adams is not commenting further on the case, only saying he has opened an investigation and hopes to have it wrapped up in a week.

South Annville Township police and the Lebanon County district attorney are also conducting an investigation into the first incident and have not said what charges, if any, Cominsky will face.
