LONG POND, Pa. -

A Monroe County woman has been charged with corruption of minors for having a 7-year-old child urinate in a cup for her.

Pocono Mountain regional police initiated an investigation of possible child abuse on April 17. During the course of that investigation, they said they learned Crystal Donnelly was providing urine to officials for drug screening. They also learned Donnelly was having the child urinate in a cup.

After interviewing the child, police interviewed an unidentified adult living with Donnelly, who told them Donnelly also asked that individual to provide urine to her, but the individual refused to do so.

Donnelly, 29, of Long Pond, was arrested Monday. She also was charged for failing to furnish drug-free urine. Bail was set at $2,500.

A preliminary hearing is set for next Tuesday before District Magistrate Richard Claypool.
