Both lanes reopen following crash on I-78

Two people were sent to the hospital following a crash that happened on Interstate 78 in the westbound lanes, involving two cars and a tractor trailer.
The accident happened at mile marker 64 and just ahead of a 69 News Crews headed back to our station from a story around 6:45pm Friday.
Our crew on scene says two cars collided.
A tractor trailer was also involved, communications officials said. It's stopped ahead of the two cars with no major damage visible, our crew said.
One vehicle ended up in the middle of the road, a witness said. Another landed on the median.
The left lane opened around 7:30pm.
Multiple people were reported to be trapped and our crews on scene saw rescuers working to free a man from his vehicle.
There is currently no word on the conditions of the victims.
The westbound lanes on Interstate 78 have since reopened.
