Casimir Szapka faces numerous charges

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Twenty-six-year-old Casimir Szapka of Northampton was arrested early Sunday morning outside the Sheetz gas station/convenience store at 3201 Schoenersville Road in Bethlehem.

According to Bethlehem police, the suspect was highly intoxicated when he drove into the store's lot.

He parked in a handicapped spot without the proper designation and acted "unruly, boisterous and disorderly" toward Sheetz employees. He was detained by the store's security personnel until police arrived about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police found the suspect had Adderall without a prescription.

Szapka was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, parking in a handicapped spot and failing to sign a vehicle registration card.

He resides at 229 Stonebridge Road, Northampton.
