Two Berks County men have been charged in connection with a child exploitation case in Montgomery County.
Prosecutors announced charges Friday against Mark Wilczopolski and Glenn Kriczky during a news conference in Norristown.
Wilczopolski, also known as "Wilco," was charged federally with using the Internet to entice a minor to engage in sexual conduct, receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography, said United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
The 22-year-old Birdsboro man, along with Kriczky, 58, also of Berks County, will be prosecuted on local charges in Montgomery County, District Attorney Risa Ferman said.
Wilczopolski, Kriczky, and the other suspects in the case communicated with a 14-year-old boy via cell phone and computer, said officials, adding that Wilczopolski and Kriczky exchanged nude images and videos with the boy.
An examination of the men's cell phones revealed numerous images and videos of child pornography, prosecutors said.
If convicted of all charges, Wilczopolski faces between 10 years and life in prison, officials said.
Kriczky is currently free on $10,000 bail, pending further court action.
The other four defendants in the case were identified by prosecutors as Matthew Krapf, 43, of Collegeville, Montgomery Co.; Christopher Steele, 33, of New Castle, Del.; Paul Gavin Britton, 45, of Dover, Del.; and Jason Scott Becktold, 42, of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Krapf, Steele and Britton stand accused of engaging in sex acts with the 14-year-old boy.
Britton committed suicide while awaiting extradition on the charges, officials said.
