Family members of a 15-year-old boy, whose throat was slashed in broad daylight, say they will not rest until justice is served.
One month ago, Wilberto Rojas was attacked at Douglass and Church streets in the city of Reading.
Monday afternoon, loved ones held a candlelight vigil at the site of the crime where they prayed for justice.
"There no words to explain it," said Luis Diaz, friend. "I played ball with him every day. It's hard to believe."
"I still cry every day," said Destiny Santini. "It hurts because he was my boyfriend."
"When I find something, a t-shirt, sneakers, something from him, I don't know how to feel," said Valentina Mendez, grandmother.
Shortly after the crime, police identified the suspect as Jose Espinoza Diaz from Reading.
The Berks County District Attorney says he recently executed a search warrant and seized Diaz's bank accounts.
Authorities say they believe Diaz has fled to Mexico.
They also say they are working with U.S. Marshals to find Diaz.
