Vehicle crashes into Rite Aid store in Douglassville

AMITY TWP., Pa. -

A car crashed into a Rite Aid pharmacy in Berks County on Tuesday, prompting a brief evacuation of the store.

The accident happened shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rite Aid store at Routes 422 and 662 in Douglassville, Amity Township.

The store was evacuated because of the structural damage done to the building, but reopened a short time later.

No one was injured in the accident.
