Traffic is moving much more smoothly on Washington Street in downtown Reading now that both lanes are open outside the Berks County Services Center.
The busy street was reduced to one lane of travel for the past several months while crews worked on the building's facade.
It's part of a project to rehabilitate the services center. Commissioners said there were serious design flaws when the building was constructed in the early 1990s.
There's no timetable for the repairs to be completed.
