RICHMOND TWP., Pa. -

A tractor trailer driver was confined to his cab for about an hour while live wires draped his truck.

The UPS Freight truck brought down two utility poles and power lines at Crystal Ridge and Crystal Cave roads in Richmond Township, near Virginville. The accident happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver had to stay inside the truck until Met-Ed crews could shut off power to the lines, which fell on top of the trailer and sparked a brush fire in an adjacent field, police said.
