CUMRU TWP., Pa. -

Emergency crews responded Tuesday to reports of numerous trees and branches being downed by strong winds.

Many of the reports are coming in from the Cumru Township and Wyomissing areas of Berks County.

At least two trees reportedly fell onto occupied vehicles, but no one was injured.

One of those trees came down in the 1600 block of Cedar Top Road in Cumru Township

"I caught at the last second," said Patrick Murphy, whose car was totaled by the downed tree. "It was literally kind of swaying. As soon as I got next to it, I just heard the crack I could see the first limb come down, and at that point, it was just brace for impact."

Part of a large tree also fell onto Museum Road, near the Wawa convenience store, in Wyomissing.
