School urges students to call Crime Alert with tips about arson

Police said they hope a cash reward will help them crack an arson case in Exeter Township.

They said they believe someone set fire to two sheds alongside the football field at the Exeter Township High School late Saturday night.

Both sheds were destroyed along with the athletic equipment that was stored inside them. Advertising banners were also cut.

Announcements have been made in both the junior and senior high schools, encouraging anyone with information about the vandals to call Crime Alert Berks County. A cash reward is being offered for any tip that leads to an arrest. The number to call is 877-373-9913.
