ROBESON, Pa. -

Police are investigating a reported case of road rage in Berks County.

The two vehicles involved were on Route 724, facing each other at the red light at Gibraltar Road in Robeson Township.

When the light turned green, the eastbound car turned left onto Gibraltar Road and the westbound pickup truck accelerated forward, following the car north on Gibraltar Road into Exeter Township, police said.

The driver of the pickup, described as being enraged, continuously yelled at the car's driver as he drove alongside the car, police said.

Both vehicles eventually ended up on the parking lot of the Exeter Township municipal building, where officers from Exeter, Robeson and Central Berks responded.

The incident remains under investigation, said police, adding that charges are likely to be filed.
