READING, Pa. -

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a grocery store in Reading last month.

Investigators released Wednesday a surveillance photo taken inside Sorangel Grocery, 153 N. 4th St., at 5:28 p.m. on Oct. 26.

The robber, police said, waited in line until a customer left and then demanded money from two female employees of the store.

The man, acting as if he had a gun and partially covering his face, then went behind the counter and grabbed an undetermined amount of cash, said police, noting that the workers never saw a weapon.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
