A Berks County man threatened to open fire with an assault rifle and kill everyone inside a home, state police said.
Larry Yaw told a Rockland Township woman on the phone Sunday evening that he was getting in his car and going to drive to her house, where he was going to "spray the house with an AK-47 and kill everyone inside," according to court documents made available Tuesday.
Yaw, 30, of Richmond Township, was later arrested and charged with five counts each of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment, said state police, adding that Yaw has a criminal record for simple assault, burglary and theft.
A judge set Yaw's bail at $25,000 and ordered him to have no contact with the victims.
Police provided no information about how Yaw is acquainted with the alleged victims.
