Wyomissing's July 4th parade was a popular stop before barbecues Thursday afternoon.

Wyomissing celebrated Independence Day in traditional fashion on Thursday.

Borough residents lined the streets for the annual parade, which started at 10 a.m.

It's also the 100th birthday of the borough's public library.

The parade was followed by events at the Stone House, which included a pie-eating contest, a rubber duck race and games for people of all ages.
