A man charged in connection with a shooting over a parking space in Reading has learned his fate.
Alexander Ortiz-Sanabria was sentenced Tuesday to five to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated assault and other charges.
An attempted homicide charge was dropped.
According to police, he and Angel Gomez-Morales shot a man after an argument over a parking spot.
It happened November 4, 2011 in the area of South 11th and Cotton streets.
Gomez-Morales was nabbed in Puerto Rico in April of 2013.
That man was shot twice but has since recovered.
