It's a special lesson that will be never be forgotten.
Kids in Berks County discovered what it's like to live a disability.
They got a chance to use a wheelchair and other adaptive equipment during the Taste of Berks event in Reading Sunday.
The IM ABLE Foundation teamed up with Greater Reading Independent Restaurant Association to stage the event.
IM ABLE is a nonprofit group that provides opportunities for those effected by disabilities to be able to live a physically active life.
Kids shot a basketball from a wheelchair and also went through an obstacle course.
Chis Kagg, of the IM Able Foundation, said, "We want to expose people without disabilities to come out here sit in the chair and just see what the basic daily task opening a door, going up an incline, going down a decline. It's not as easy as you think it is."
The event also featured music, raffles and lots of food.
