Fire in Exeter Twp.

EXETER TWP., Pa. -

Fire hydrants buried under the snow posed problems for firefighters battling a house fire in Berks Sunday.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. at 4800 Deborah Drive in Exeter Township.

Crews needed about 1200 feet of hose to get water from the tanker trucks because firefighters said the hydrants were buried under the snow.

A man and his two pets managed to get out safely.
