READING, Pa. -

Two brothers may have to pay the ultimate price in the killings of two people in Berks County and another in Lehigh County.

Berks County prosecutors announced Wednesday they will seek the death penalty for Michael and Maurice Wilkins, of Ruscombmanor Township.

The Wilkins brothers are accused of shooting to death two men -- Rafael Alequin and Dario McLemore -- in the 1100 block of Franklin Street in Reading on Dec. 4, 2012.

The brothers then tortured a young woman who may have set up the drug deal that led to those killings, officials said. Jennifer Velez Negron's burning body was found alongside a road in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co., near Allentown, in late December.

The Wilkins brothers, charged with three counts of first degree murder, aggravated assault and kidnapping, are due back in court on Nov. 15.
