A possible merger of the Antietam and Exeter school districts will be the topic of another meeting between the two school boards.
The joint meeting will take place Wed., March 26, at 7 p.m. at the Reiffton School, 4355 Dunham Dr., in Exeter Township.
The boards are set to discuss information about the potential financial benefits and costs of the proposed merger.
The meeting is open to the public.
The Exeter Township School District, which is made up of the township and neighboring Saint Lawrence borough, has a 2013-2014 enrollment of 4,107 students, according to the Berks County Intermediate Unit. It has six school buildings.
The Antietam School District, which is comprised of Mount Penn and Lower Alsace Township, has a 2013-2014 enrollment of 1,043 students, making it the smallest district in Berks County. It has three school buildings.
The two districts have discussed the possibility of merging a number of times over the past several decades.
