ONTELAUNEE TWP., Pa. -

A toy company in Berks County is helping children affected by superstorm Sandy.

TK's Toy Box in Ontelaunee Township is donating 38,000 toys to children in storm-ravaged areas.

The company didn't get some shipments of toys when Sandy hit but when the shipments finally arrived, the company worked with Toys for Tots to help children who lost everything.

"I know Christmas isn't about the material things, but to give a child hope at the holidays to let them know there is a bright side things do get better and someone was thinking of them and I think that's the most important thing," said TK's Toybox owner Tara Kennedy-Kline.

The toy company made a similar donation to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
