Restaurant Week underway in Greater Reading

Restaurants across Berks County are showcasing the finest food they have to offer to customers old and new.

READING, Pa. -

Restaurants across Berks County are showcasing the finest food they have to offer to customers old and new.

The annual Restaurant Week, sponsored by the Greater Reading Independent Restaurant Association, started Thursday.

Participating restaurants, which include The Hitching Post in Bern Township, the Yellow House Hotel in Douglassville, Flanagan's Pub in Shillington, and Klinger's on Carsonia in Lower Alsace Township, are offering various lunch and dinner specials.

Restaurant Week will continue through Sun., April 28.

GRIRA is a non-profit organization that was created to unify independent restaurant owners in Berks County.
