Three Reading men are facing decades behind bars after being federally indicted on robbery charges.

PHILADELPHIA -

Three Reading men are facing decades behind bars after being federally indicted on robbery charges.

Luis Cruz, Eligio Huertas and Eduardo Ramos robbed the Sunoco gas station on the Warren Street Bypass in January, police said. A few minutes later, police said the men hit La Cibaena grocery store on Oley Street.

In both cases, investigators said the men were armed with guns and violently forced the stores' employees to the ground. They were able to get away with cash and cigarettes.

The men, officials said, also carjacked a person at gunpoint.

If convicted, the men face a maximum sentence of life in jail.
