Firefighters battle 2-alarm blaze in Boyertown

Firefighters from Berks and Montgomery counties have managed to keep a storage barn in Boyertown from going up in flames.

BOYERTOWN, Pa. -

Firefighters from Berks and Montgomery counties have managed to keep a storage barn in Boyertown from going up in flames.

The call for a fire came in around 9:30 a.m. Monday from the 300 block of West Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find smoke coming from a 2-1/2-story building. The fire went to two alarms before firefighters brought the blaze under control.

No one was injured.

Investigators are now trying to determine what sparked the fire.
