A fired school director who's accused of paying students to start a riot inside a Reading alternative school has called the allegations "ridiculous."
Andre Bean used to be the director of Delaware Valley High School in Reading.
Bean denies that he and five others urged students to damage the school after they were fired on September 14th.
Last month attorneys for the company that runs the school, Unique Educational Experience, filed a lawsuit alleging that Bean orchestrated the melee so the school would hire him back.
Two Reading police officers were injured during the brawl.
The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that Bean filed a response in court calling the allegations "ridiculous", "wild" and "defamatory."
The DA is still investigating the case.
