Seven students have admitted to their roles in a melee at an alternative high school in Reading, court officials said.

READING, Pa. -

Seven students have admitted to their roles in a melee at an alternative high school in Reading, court officials said.

Two police officers were injured while trying to break up the fight at Delaware Valley High School on Margaret Street on September 21.

Two students admitted to disorderly conduct and five admitted to inciting a riot, officials said.

Most were ordered detained in a juvenile center.

Several former school employees, including its one-time director, stand accused by the school's owner of inciting the violence among students.

District Attorney John Adams told 69 News he is investigating those allegations, but no charges have been filed.
