Berks Catholic girls battled-tested entering league play

Berks Catholic is in control of a very competitive Berks II, thanks to a challenging non-league schedule.

The Berks Catholic girls are out to a perfect start in league play.

That's no small feat. Berks II is perhaps the toughest division within the county this year.

Saints coach Bob Birmingham knew that coming into the season, so he made sure his came into league play battle tested.

That meant playing a challenging non-conference schedule.

The Saints handled it well. In fact, BC's only two losses thus far have come to York Catholic.

All in all, the team says it has prepared them for the grind of Berks play, especially important for a team that is as young as the Saints are overall.
