ArtsQuest looking for Oktoberfest performers
If you like lederhosen, beer and performing, the folks at ArtsQuest has a gig for you!
ArtsQuest, based in Bethlehem, is looking for actors and actresses to perform during its third annual Oktoberfest.
The festivities are set for October 4-6 and 11-13 at the SteelStacks campus.
Actors will portray characters typically seen at a German Oktoberfest celebration, complete with authentic German attire, and interact with festival guests while in costume.
Auditions will be held July 28 from noon -5 p.m. in the Banko Family Gallery of the Banana Factory, at 25 W. Third St. in Bethlehem.
No preparation is necessary, as auditions will be primarily improv-based.
The ability to perform with a German accent is encouraged, but not required.
All actors will be paid for their Oktoberfest performances.
To set up an audition time, email ArtsQuest programming manager Ryan Hill at email@example.com. The email should include an attached resume and headshot, as well as the preferred audition time.
No phone calls will be accepted.
For more information, go to ArtsQuest's Oktoberfest website page.
