BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

A man armed with a knife entered a Northampton County bagel shop and stole a donation container, police said.

The man walked into Vic's Bagel Shop at 2910 Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Twp. around 7 a.m. Monday, holding a short bladed knife.

He did not say anything but showed the knife to a worker and left with a container used to collect donations for helping stray and injured animals, police said.

The robber was described as a dark-skinned male wearing a dark jacket with the hood pulled up. He had a scarf over his face, and was wearing gray sweatpants and light colored sneakers.

He ran out of the back of the store.

There's no word on how much money was in the container.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Tony Stevens at 610-814-6473.
