Arizona man found stabbed and beaten in Doylestown Borough

Phoenix, Arizona man wounded in incident

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, Pa. -

Police in Bucks County are calling the beating and stabbing of a 71 year-old man near the Doylestown Borough train station a case of attempted murder.

The Bucks County District Attorney's office said George Mohr of Phoenix, Arizona, suffered a head injury and numerous stab wounds to his arms and upper body.

Police said Mohr was found lying on Clinton Street in the borough shortly after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police think Mohr arrived in Doylestown Borough on a train sometime on Tuesday July 2nd. Doylestown Borough Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney's office are investigating the incident. District Attorney David Heckler said authorities are looking for information on Mohr, his friends or relatives. Anyone with information is asked to call 215-348-7400.
