Argument in Hellertown between Stoneback brothers prompts assault charges for one

LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. -

A fight between brothers resulted in serious injuries to one, assault charge for another, police said.

According to Lower Saucon Twp. police, Randal Stoneback was arguing with his brother Kerry Stoneback at their home in 2532 Alpine Drive in Hellertown when the fight got physical.

Randal used a metal bat to hit Kerry in the head and neck, causing serious injury, police said.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 22.

Randal was taken to the Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail, facing assault charges.
