ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A former substitute teacher in Allentown accused of sexually assaulting a student in a school bathroom will not spend time behind bars.

Michael Agrippine, 46, entered a no contest plea Friday to endangering the welfare of a child.

He was sentenced to five years probation.

Officials say Agrippine sexually assaulted a 9-year-old boy in a bathroom at Union Terrace Elementary School last January.

Agrippine was also facing other charges including sexual contact with a student, but they were withdrawn.
